FarSounder prides itself in making great products. THE reason we are able to produce such products is our team. Everyone on the development team gets to have a direct impact on our customers' experience. Obviously, this means everyone is in some way responsible for the success of the company. It also means that everyone here has invested their own product in the end product. Lots of companies say this. We like to believe we actually do this. This is perhaps one of the reasons why our team enjoys their work here...and it shows. This past week, "One Day, One Job", a blog site focused on finding and highlighting interesting and exciting entry level jobs for college graduates, featured our Software Engineer employment opportunity

We're usually always looking for the next "Best and Brightest" to join our diverse team of developers. Sometimes we hire very experienced engineers. In addition to working on the technology, we expect our more senior hires to mentor our entry level hires and help them develop into experts in their domains. On the flip side, since we strive to only hire exceptional candidates, our senior engineers recognize that they can also learn a thing or two from the "young blood".

Since no-one does what FarSounder does, we can't just fall back on the usual playbook. We've also found that "growing our own" can be a successful approach and we've offered positions to many of our interns.
