FarSounder awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contract

FarSounder announced today that it has earned inclusion in the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule 58-I contract list. In awarding this contract the GSA has invited FarSounder to become a business partner, thereby assuring that government agencies and approved government contractors doing business with FarSounder receive best terms and conditions.

Under the five year contract, FarSounder will be listed as a preferred government-approved vendor and can provide advanced Sonar systems to federal, state, and local governments. To further simplify ordering, FarSounder's listing will also be available on GSA Advantage! (www.gsaadvantage.gov), the government's electronic ordering system. Only authorized purchasing agents for the government are able to purchase through GSA.

"This GSA award will make FarSounder's advanced sonar systems more easily available for procurement by government agencies as well as their contracting partners," FarSounder CEO, Cheryl M. Zimmerman stated. "We are extremely excited to have been awarded our GSA Schedule Contract. Many agencies and program managers prefer this streamlined procurement vehicle, especially when working with small businesses. Going through this application process is a reflection of FarSounder's strong commitment to working with US government agencies."
