We can't share all our secrets and development plans, but we can share some of the excitement that our engineers experience every day working for FarSounder.

detecting fish with sonar

Lots of people have asked us if we can see fish and other small marine life. The original motivation for FarSounder's sonar technology came from protecting the marine environment. Our navigation products have been designed for 3D forward looking obstacle avoidance and are able to detect obstacles like large whales and rocks using environmentally benign signals.

one day one job

FarSounder prides itself in making great products. THE reason we are able to produce such products is our team. Everyone on the development team gets to have a direct impact on our customers' experience. Obviously, this means everyone is in some way responsible for the success of the company. It also means that everyone here has invested their own product in the end product. Lots of companies say this. We like to believe we actually do this. This is perhaps one of the reasons why our team enjoys their work here...and it shows. This past week, "One Day, One Job", a blog site focused on finding and highlighting interesting and exciting entry level jobs for college graduates, featured our Software Engineer employment opportunity.
