4th Ocean Technology Workshop (OTW) includes FarSounder Training and Sea Demo

In Water Demonstrations and Training of FS-3 Product

Farsounder will offer training on their 3D forward-looking, obstacle avoidance sonar systems along with on water demonstrations of their FS-3 product at the 2004 OTW. This workshop, sponsored by the Marine and Oceanographic Technology Network, will be on Goat Island, Newport, RI from October 19 to 21.

The focus of the 4th Ocean Technology Workshop is "Technology for Port & Harbor Security". The workshop venue offers an opportunity for government planners and on-scene security providers to interact directly with manufacturers and technologists to learn more about the current state-of-the-art products and technologies that can be readily applied to emerging maritime security requirements.

Training sessions will include 3D sonar concepts, FS-3 operation, system installation and data archive capabilities for navigation, compliance, and scientific applications. A special workshop on security applications for FLS 3D Sonar is also scheduled. Register today at http://www.motn.org/workshop.htm.
