Product Screen Shots
FarSounder is committed to continually testing, improving and advancing its Forward Looking Sonar capabilities. Unlike a simple depth sounder or mechanically scanned fish finders, FarSounder's sonar systems have been designed with obstacle avoidance and diver detection as their primary purposes.
Our navigation sonar products look ahead of the vessel and generate the entire 3D image with a single ping. While our ship protection systems add underwater surveillance when the vessel is on anchor.

FS-SPS
Our ship protection system offers both diver detection capabilities while on anchor and obstacle avoidance capabilities while underway. The screen shots below demonstrate our automated detection, tracking, and threat identification algorithms operating in shallow water at tactically significant ranges.
FS-3ER
Our newest navigation product is the FS-3ER. It offers navigation capabilities out to a range of 1/2 nautical mile (900 meters) and is designed to operate at vessel speeds up to 25 knots.
FS-3DT
FarSounder's FS-3DT product offers navigation capabilities out to 1/4 nautical mile (440 meters). The screen shots below high light this product's performance in various marine environments around the world.
